How it works
A shared photo album of our Disney cruise, plus a friendly contest to crown some favorites.
The short version
- Sign in with your first name and the password Worth gave you.
- Upload your cruise photos — they go into your personal chapter and the main album.
- Tag your favorites with categories (Food, Portraits, etc.) and mark up to 3 per category as contest entries.
- When Worth opens voting, pick your top 3 in each category. Anonymous by default.
- Winners are revealed after voting closes. 🎉
📚 Main album + chapters
Everyone uploads to the same shared main album — you can see every photo from every shipmate on the Gallery page.
Each shipmate also gets their own chapter — their personal section of the album, automatically filled with photos they uploaded. Tap Chapters to browse by person.
You can also filter the main album by category (e.g., only Food photos, only Sunsets) or by chapter (only one person's photos).
📷 Uploading photos
- From your phone: Tap the 📷 Upload button in the top right, pick photos from your camera roll, and tap Upload.
- iPhone HEIC works: No conversion needed — we handle it server-side.
- Multiple at once: Select dozens of photos at a time; they upload in parallel with per-file progress bars.
- Duplicates are skipped: If you re-upload the same photo, we just dedupe it.
- Only photos — no videos, please.
🏆 The contest
Submission phase (now)
Open any of your uploaded photos, tick the categories that fit, then check "🏆 Submit to contest" for each category you want to enter. You get up to 3 entries per category.
You can keep editing your entries until voting opens — swap a photo in, take one out, retag categories.
Categories
Worth can add, rename, or remove categories any time from the admin panel.
Voting phase
When Worth opens voting, head to the Contest page and pick your top 3 in each category.
- Scoring: 1st = 3 pts, 2nd = 2 pts, 3rd = 1 pt.
- Voting is blind by default — uploader names are hidden until winners are revealed, so you're voting on the photo, not the person.
- You can't vote for your own photos.
- Your votes save automatically as you tap — come back any time before voting closes to change them.
- If a category has only 1 or 2 entries, just pick what's there — partial top-3 is fine.
Winners
Once voting closes, Worth reveals the winners. Each category gets a 1st-2nd-3rd podium with point breakdowns. There's also a photographer leaderboard for who won the most categories. 🥇🥈🥉
❤️ Other things you can do
- Hearts: Tap the ❤️ on any photo to favorite it. Hearts are public (everyone can see how many a photo has) and don't count toward the contest — they're just for fun.
- Captions: Add a caption when you tag your photo's categories — it shows up in detail view and on the winners page if your photo wins.
- Download: Tap "⬇ Download original" on any photo to grab the full-resolution file.
📲 Add it to your home screen
Make the album feel like a real app with its own icon — one tap to open, no typing a web address. Takes about 15 seconds.
- Open the site in Safari (this only works in Safari, not Chrome).
- Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up — at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down and tap View more (or “More”) if you don't see the next option.
- Tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add in the top-right corner.
A “Disney Cruise 2026” icon appears on your home screen. It opens full-screen, like an app.
- Open the site in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu (three dots) in the top-right corner.
- Tap Add to Home screen (or Install app).
- Tap Add to confirm.
The icon lands on your home screen and launches straight into the album.
🔐 Privacy + FAQ
Only family and friends Worth has given a name + password to — you don't have to have been on the cruise to be here. Sign-up is closed; your account was created for you.
Nope. Once you sign in on a device, you stay signed in for ~10 years. Just open the site and you're back in.
Yes — it's designed mobile-first. Add it to your home screen for a 1-tap launch.
Just delete it — open the photo and tap 🗑 Delete this photo. It's your photo, so you can remove it yourself any time. (Or re-upload a corrected version; duplicates are skipped.)
Worth will keep it up for many, many years to come!
